We can help...
Why Active Life?
We call ourselves 'Active Life' for two reasons:
First, it is our desire to keep our patients in the very best of health that allows them to truly live an active life. It is important to us to have our patients be able to continue working their jobs and participating in the recreational activites that they enjoy.
Secondly, we call ourselves 'Active Life' because we know that the doctor alone can only do so much to help the patient get and stay healthy. It is important for patients to take an active role in the healing process. This may include stretching/exercise regimens, lifestyle changes, and proper doctor-recommended physical follow-up.
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is the art and science of detecting and correcting joint misalignments and restoring the associated nervous system back to its normal, optmal functioning.
This is done through the specific chiropractic adjustment. The Doctor of Chiropractic uses his/her hands and/or specifically designed instruments to restore normal joint movement and alignment with a high speed/low force thrust.
Does an adjustment hurt?
Thankfully most adjustment do not hurt and frequently they feel good as the pressure from the joint is released. Dr. Gregerson uses safe, gentle, and effective chiropractic techniques.

Been in a Wreck?
You hear the screech of tires and then a split second later, it hits you. You have been hit. Everything is a blur. You are disoriented, your heart begins to race. You feel stiff and shaky. Your airbags didn't deploy but now you are starting to feel pain in your neck, low back, and you begin to feel the beginning of a headache.
Auto accidents are no fun; and it is impossible to be prepared for one. Often the complete symptoms from the accident do not show up until a week or so after the accident.
Do not delay. Getting the proper treatment right away is important. If you were knocked unconscious or are not sure of the severity of your accident, it is advised to be seen at your local hospital. Once severe or life-threatening injuries have been ruled out, chiropractic care is one of the best ways to quickly restore normal function to your spine and supportive tissues. Dr. Gregerson uses his 16 years of treating post-trauma patients to get you and your family back in the fast lane of health.
Sports Injury

Pregnancy
Is there any surprise that expectant mothers are prone to have back and neck pain throughout their pregnancies?
As the baby continues to grow, the expanding abdomen protrudes further outward, resulting in a forward tilt of the pelvis. This put the lower back in an increased curvature, which often limits the normal motion. The additional weight stresses not only the spine but also the supporting muscles and ligaments.
As the lower spinal curve is altered, the remaining curves of the expectant mother must adapt as well. This can often lead to neck and shoulder pain, as well as headaches.
As the baby starts to run out of room, it is typical for the mother to feel a certain amount of pressure near the ribs. The ribs then transfer that pressure around to the mid spine where they attach, leading to mid-back pain. Dr. Gregerson has had excellent results working with expectant mothers during and after their pregnancies.
Kids need adjustments?
Yes! Anyone who has spent time with toddlers who are learning to walk has seen them fall over dozens of times. These and countless other physical stresses take their toll on young developing bodies. Adjustments can help with ear Infections, colic, and wellness maintenence throughout your child's growth stages.

Dr. Gregerson has worked with two-day old infants and uses the safest and gentle techniques. If you are nervous about having your child adjusted, please ask Dr. Gregerson to explain to you the techniques used in adjusting infants and what you can expect.
